About the Role
Love cooking, good food, and getting out and about?
At HFH Healthcare, we're looking for friendly, compassionate, and reliable Complex Care Assistants to support a sociable young adult living independently in his own home in Islington.
Our client enjoys good food, cooking, and spending time out in the community. He's looking for someone who shares his interests, enjoys good conversation, and can bring a friendly, relaxed, and positive approach to his day.
More than anything, he values companionship, patience, and being listened to. He knows his care needs well and appreciates carers who respect his choices, respond promptly when he asks for assistance, and are happy to learn how he prefers things done.
You don't need to know everything, but you do need to be willing to listen, ask questions, and learn. He's always happy to explain his preferences rather than have someone make assumptions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a genuine connection while supporting someone to enjoy an active, independent, and fulfilling life.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
