Complex Care Assistant
Locations: Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield & Halifax
Pay: £14.24 to £16.00 per hour (including holiday pay, dependent on experience and complexity of care) + 30p per mile mileage allowance
Shifts: A variety of shifts available including day shifts, waking nights, and longer sit shifts, Monday to Sunday. Weekend availability is required. Depending on the package of care, shifts may be provided on either a 2:1 or 1:1 basis.
Please note: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
About the Role
Routes Healthcare is expanding its specialist Regional Complex Care Team to support clients across West Yorkshire, including Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and Halifax.

This is not standard domiciliary care. As a Complex Care Specialist, you will utilise advanced clinical skills daily while working within a dedicated and highly supportive specialist team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care to clients with complex needs across multiple locations
- Delivering specialist clinical interventions, including:
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning
- Ventilation support
- Spinal injury care
- Travelling throughout the region to support clients as required
- Working closely with experienced clinical teams and benefiting from 24/7 on-call support

Requirements
To be considered, you must:
- Have a minimum of 6 months' paid UK care experience (complex care experience desirable)
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
- Be confident working with clinical procedures (full training and support provided)
- Have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
