Works closely with: Registered Manager & Clinical Nurse Lead
On-Call: Participation in a shared operational on-call rota

Airmid Staffing is looking for an organised, compassionate and proactive Complex Care Co-ordinator to support the delivery of high-quality complex care services.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Co-ordinator, Complex Care Co-ordinator, Senior Support Worker or care professional looking to develop their career within a specialist complex-care environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our care packages run safely and effectively, supporting frontline teams and working closely with families, healthcare professionals and our clinical and operational teams.

As our Complex Care Co-ordinator, you'll support the day-to-day operational delivery of allocated complex-care packages.
- You'll ensure care packages are appropriately staffed, rotas are maintained, documentation is accurate, and care continues to meet each individual's assessed needs.
- You'll also be an important point of contact for care teams, families and multidisciplinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Care Package Coordination
- Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of allocated complex-care packages.
- Ensure services are delivered safely and consistently in accordance with individual care plans.
- Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.
- Monitor package fulfilment and proactively address potential gaps.
- Maintain package fulfilment of 95% or above, escalating risks promptly.
Out-of-Hours & On-Call Support
- Our complex-care services can operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so continuity and timely escalation are essential.
- You'll participate in a shared on-call rota across the operational team, helping to ensure urgent staffing or service issues are appropriately managed and escalated.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with strong experience within healthcare, homecare or complex-care services who understands the importance of safe staffing, accurate documentation and responsive service delivery.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in care coordination, complex care, home care, or a similar healthcare environment.
- Experience coordinating staff rotas and maintaining safe service coverage.
- A good understanding of person-centred care.
- Experience supporting or supervising frontline care staff.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management.
- Confidence recognising and escalating concerns.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Accurate record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Confidence communicating with families and multidisciplinary professionals.
- The ability to remain calm and organised when priorities change.
- Good IT skills and confidence using electronic care-management/CRM systems.
- A collaborative, professional and solutions-focused approach.
