About The Role

Do you enjoy hands-on care but want the opportunity to see the long-term impact of your work?
Join our specialist Mobilisation Team and play a vital role in launching new complex care packages across the North West. You'll work alongside individuals with complex health needs, their families and healthcare professionals to build personalised support that enables people to live independently in their own homes. No two days are the same. Every package is different, offering variety, challenge and the opportunity to continuously develop your specialist skills.
What You'll Do
- Lead the mobilisation of new complex care packages, helping make sure each package is safe, personalised and ready to go.
- Use and build your clinical & specialist knowledge through hands-on experience and specialist training in areas such as medication management, respiratory care, suction, enteral feeding, seizure management and more.
- Work closely with the individual, their family and wider healthcare professionals to understand what matters to them and build support around their needs and goals.
- Shadow-train and support new care teams, helping colleagues develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to provide high-quality care.
- Deliver specialist hands-on care and support in areas such as:
- Medication management
- Respiratory care
- Suction
- Enteral feeding
- Seizure management
- Catheter and bowel care
- Ventilation and tracheostomy care
- Work across different packages and locations, giving you variety and the opportunity to rapidly broaden your complex care experience.
- Make a real difference from day one – you'll be there at the start of someone's care journey, helping establish a support package that enables them to live as independently as possible in their own home.

Essential Criteria
Please only apply if you meet the below requirements:
- At least 2 years experience of providing clinical care and support services to adults with complex care and support needs incl. for example Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, Learning Disability, Autism and Mental Health diagnoses
- At least 2 year’s experience of providing medication and pain management to people with a complex care diagnosis.
- Experience of shadow-training new complex care workers
- Experience of working with and relating to people from a wide variety of backgrounds
Qualifications & Training
- NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Care / Promoting Independence or equivalent.
Other
- Willingness to attend all clinical mandatory and specialist training courses and events
- Ability to travel to services around the North West region, providing short-term care and support
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, covering 24 hours/7 days, Days & Nights
- Ability and willingness to provide out of hours support and participate in an On call Rota
- Full Driving License and use of a vehicle
