As an Employee Relations Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of that mission, guiding managers through challenging employee relations matters with confidence, compassion, and clarity.

In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you’ll manage a wide range of colleague relations cases, from disciplinary and grievance to absence and performance issues. You’ll coach front-line managers, review evidence, ensure compliance with employment law, and draft key documents that reflect best practice and fairness.

But this role is about more than case management. You’ll analyse trends, spot risks before they escalate, and help strengthen our HR offering by upskilling managers and improving processes. Your ability to build trust, use sound judgment, and handle sensitive issues with empathy will be key to your success.

You’ll join a close-knit team with customer service at its core and a shared vision of "One HR." You’ll be the go-to advisor for people solutions, helping to improve work relationships and drive retention across the business.

  • Salary - £35,000-£38,000 per annum based on experience.

About You

  • You have in-depth knowledge of colleague relations and experience managing high-volume, complex casework.
  • You’re a confident coach and advisor, able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You think strategically, combining analysis and design thinking to evaluate and improve HR interventions.
  • You’re up to date with people and culture trends, and ideally, hold a CIPD qualification.
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all casework.
  • Your emotional intelligence allows you to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • You thrive in continuous improvement environments, are resilient under pressure, and are solution focused.
  • Experience working with Trade Unions, ACAS, or employment tribunals is highly desirable.
