Are you an experienced homelessness or housing professional with a passion for supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, motivated and resilient Complex Hub Team Leader to join our Housing Solutions Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a specialist team delivering intensive, person-centred support to single adults who are homeless, rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness, and who may be experiencing multiple and complex needs and vulnerabilities.
As Complex Hub Team Leader, you will lead and inspire a team of Complex Case Officers, supporting them to deliver high-quality housing advice, homelessness prevention, rough sleeper interventions and intensive case management services. You will provide expert guidance on complex cases, oversee multi-agency interventions and work collaboratively with partners across housing, health, social care and support services to help customers access safe, sustainable accommodation, reduce barriers to independence and achieve positive long-term outcomes.
The role will involve:
- Leading and motivating a team of Complex Case Officers and Outreach Officers delivering intensive support to single adults who are rough sleeping, homeless, at risk of homelessness or experiencing multiple disadvantage.
- Providing professional oversight, guidance and decision-making on complex homelessness cases and support interventions.
- Supporting and overseeing interventions for customers who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping, working with partners to secure accommodation and address wider support needs.
- Supporting staff through regular supervision, reflective practice, coaching and development opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with homelessness legislation, safeguarding responsibilities, policies and procedures.
- Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with statutory services, voluntary organisations, health providers and other agencies to deliver coordinated support for customers.
- Organising and leading multi-agency meetings, case conferences and professional discussions to coordinate support plans, manage risk effectively and achieve positive outcomes for customers.
- Coordinating and overseeing local rough sleeper counts, working with internal services and partner agencies to identify and verify rough sleeping activity, monitor emerging trends and support the effective targeting of homelessness and rough sleeping interventions.
- Representing the Housing Solutions Service at internal and external meetings and partnership forums, providing management-level expertise, influencing service delivery, making informed decisions and fostering effective working relationships to achieve positive outcomes for customers.
- Supporting the identification and management of risk, safeguarding concerns and unmet need, ensuring timely and appropriate action is taken.
- Monitoring service performance, quality assurance and customer outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Contributing to policy development, service transformation and innovative approaches to supporting customers with complex needs and vulnerabilities.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working within homelessness, housing, support services or a related environment.
- Experience leading, supervising and developing teams.
- Experience of working with customers who have multiple and complex needs, including rough sleeping, mental ill health, substance misuse, offending history, domestic abuse, trauma or other vulnerabilities.
- Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation, homelessness prevention and housing options.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and partnership-working skills.
- The ability to assess and manage risk, make sound decisions and support staff with challenging and complex casework.
- A commitment to delivering person-centred services and achieving positive outcomes for customers.
Essential Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE level, Grades A to C, must include English language and maths or an equivalent qualification.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
