Are you passionate about supporting children with complex learning, physical and medical needs and helping them achieve their full potential? We are seeking a caring, patient and dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Swindon.
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalised one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), physical disabilities, complex medical needs and other significant SEND requirements. You will work closely with teachers, SEN staff, therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure each child receives the appropriate support to access learning, develop communication and participate as fully as possible in school life.

The Role
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing dedicated one-to-one and small-group support tailored to each pupil's individual needs.
- Supporting pupils with personal care, mobility and physical needs where required and in line with school procedures.
- Working alongside teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals to implement personalised support strategies.
- Celebrating individual achievements and recognising progress, no matter how small.
About You
The ideal Complex Needs Teaching Assistant will be compassionate, patient and calm, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of individual pupils. You will have a genuine passion for inclusive education and be confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Previous experience supporting children or adults with complex needs, disabilities or SEND is beneficial but not essential. The most important qualities are empathy, resilience, reliability and a willingness to learn.
