About The Role
We are looking for a Compliance Admin Support Assistant to join our M&E Compliance team. This team plays a vital role in ensuring our homes meet all mechanical and electrical compliance requirements. You will support servicing programmes, contractor management, certification checks and compliance reporting across areas such as M&E, asbestos, water hygiene, lifts and electrical safety.
You will help plan and schedule servicing, raise purchase orders, review completed works, upload certification and maintain accurate records in our compliance systems. You will also support the asbestos workstream by reviewing surveys and removal documentation, updating digital registers and working with CSV data (raw data).
This role is ideal for someone organised, confident using systems and comfortable working with contractors, technicians and customers. You will help deliver a safe, compliant and customer‑focused service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administration support across M&E, asbestos, water hygiene and lifts
- Allocate planned, reactive and remedial works to contractors
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices within agreed timeframes
- Review remedial works and challenge contractor inconsistencies
- Upload certification, surveys and compliance documents
- Extract data from internal and external portals to produce reports
- Prepare analysis for subcontractor meetings, organise meetings and take minutes
- Make courtesy calls to customers and support communication of planned works
- Manage customer expectations and respond positively to enquiries
- Support cross‑team working and departmental targets
- Provide project support to the M&E Manager when required
- Follow health and safety and safe working practices
- Order parts and materials within authorised values
- Issue work to contractors within authorised values
- Report situations outside the remit to the M&E Manager

About you
Essential
- A team player with good communication skills
- Experience handling maintenance calls, technicians, contractors or customer service administration
- Confident using Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, CMMS and contractor portals
- Experience liaising with contractors and supporting contract management
- Experience handling quotations and raising purchase orders
- Methodical approach with strong problem‑solving skills
Desired
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Customer‑focused approach
- Understanding of compliance areas such as gas, fire, water, lifts, electrical and asbestos
- Awareness of health and safety legislation
- Experience scheduling programmed works
- Experience producing reports and analysing data
