About the Role

We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to join our team on site at our Sheffield office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the firm's compliance, risk, and client care functions.

The Compliance Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting processes relating to complaints, risks, breaches, GDPR/DPA requests, and client feedback. Working closely with the Head of Legal Practice (HOLP), you will help ensure the firm meets its regulatory obligations while maintaining high standards of client service.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in complaints handling, quality assurance, client services, or compliance who enjoys investigating issues, identifying trends, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain complaints, risk, breach, and GDPR/DPA registers, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Triage incoming complaints and allocate investigations to the appropriate manager based on severity and risk.
  • Monitor complaint handling to ensure compliance with service level agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of complaints, ensuring outcomes are fair, consistent, and timely.
  • Work closely with the Head of Legal Practice to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce management information (MI) reports and compliance data for senior management.
  • Monitor client interactions and calls to assess quality standards and identify development opportunities.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to support service improvement.
  • Liaise with the Legal Ombudsman where required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across client care, compliance, and operational processes.
  • Assist with risk management activities and the identification of emerging compliance issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
