What Might a Typical Day Look Like?

As you’ll be joining a small close-knit team, there’ll be lots to get involved with. However, the main responsibilities of this role will lie within the day-to-day Operations Team. Some of the things you might get up to in a typical day could include:

  • General office duties including data input, answering the phone, greeting visitors, printing and folding drawings, diary management.
  • Management of general housekeeping and office supplies, building maintenance
  • Fleet administrative tasks such as booking in services, MOT and general repairs, weekly reporting on mileage/vehicle inspections.
  • Maintaining records and arranging servicing of items of plant/tools.
  • Maintaining records, purchase and distribution of staff uniform/PPE
  • Maintain staff training records, booking appropriate courses

Who Might Be an Ideal Candidate?

Whilst having general office experience would be a plus, we are open to talking to candidates who are quick to pick up new systems, however we would prefer for the right candidate to have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package. including MS Excel. Spreadsheets and the manipulation of the same are a key element of this role!
