Compliance Administrator
These are exciting times for the charity and we have an excellent opportunity for a professional and flexible Compliance Administrator, to join the busy Legal and Governance Department.
Position: Compliance Administrator
Location: East Devon/Hybrid (site attendance currently estimated to be 1 day per week)
Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week
Salary: £26,715 per annum pro rata (actual £19,082)
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
As Compliance Administrator, you will provide full administrative assistance to the Compliance Team, responding to queries and communicating with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and customer service orientated manner.
Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:
- Managing and triaging the Compliance Support Desk, allocating queries to appropriate advisers and proactively monitoring and chasing responses to ensure timely resolution.
- Supporting the administration of Subject Access Requests (SARs), including coordinating with advisers to confirm scope, managing communication with data owners, tracking statutory deadlines, and conducting initial document searches in preparation for redaction.
- Assisting with CCTV compliance processes, including maintaining logs and ensuring appropriate documentation of assessments.
- Providing administrative support for risk management activities, including maintaining risk registers, coordinating updates and supporting risk review processes.
- Supporting the administration of insurance claims, including coordinating documentation and liaising with internal stakeholders and external insurers.
- Administering the policy management system, including issuing review reminders, tracking approvals, and ensuring timely publication of policies on internal platforms.
- Coordinating quarterly insurance review meetings, including scheduling and recording accurate minutes and action logs.

About You
You will have:
- Previous experience of working within a busy administrative role.
- Experience of providing administrative support within a compliance, governance, risk, data protection, insurance, or policy environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a proven ability to successfully interact with people at all levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational and planning skills and able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst dealing with a number of conflicting demands and deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Competent IT skills (proficient in use of Microsoft Office 365).
