About the role:

We’re looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team and support the business in meeting its regulatory obligations under our UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) licence. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on Safer Gambling and Anti-Money Laundering (AML). You’ll monitor customer activity, carry out reviews and risk assessments, and communicate directly with customers via email, live chat, and telephone. You’ll also work closely with teams across the business to help ensure our compliance requirements are understood and consistently applied.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance with UKGC Licensing Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP).
  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of Safer Gambling and AML/CFT policies and procedures.
  • Monitor customer accounts, identify risk and behavioural indicators, and carry out appropriate interventions.
  • Conduct customer risk profiling and review due diligence documentation.
  • Communicate with customers regarding Safer Gambling and due diligence in a clear, professional, and empathetic way.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, incidents, and compliance activity.
  • Work closely with Customer Support and other teams to promote a strong culture of compliance.
  • Stay up to date with relevant regulatory requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of our compliance processes and controls.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a compliance role within the iGaming industry, with direct experience of the UKGC regulatory framework.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Safer Gambling requirements, including customer interactions, affordability assessments, and harm minimisation.
  • Good understanding of AML/CFT requirements within the remote gambling sector.
  • Experience working with compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC screening, transaction monitoring, and customer profiling tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A professional, empathetic, and confident approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
