Compliance Analyst (AML/Conflicts)

International Law Firm | Manchester Office

Our client, a top international law firm, is actively recruiting for someone to join them on a permanent basis in their Manchester office - working as their new Compliance Analyst, focusing on both AML and Conflicts.

You'll be part of an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance Team, supporting the onboarding of new clients and matters into the firm. This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in Manchester, London, and the US.

As the successful Compliance Analyst, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Conducting conflict analysis and CDD on clients and matters
  • Maintaining information barriers
  • Assisting with the management of the Business Acceptance inbox
  • Identifying, assessing, and escalating high-risk issues, including sanctions and AML risk
  • Liaising with Partners and support staff, in relation to AML and conflicts

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:

  • Have a minimum of 12 months within Legal Risk & Compliance (this can either be as an Assistant, Analyst/Officer, or Paralegal - if your role includes both AML and conflicts)
  • Be able to commute to the London office three days per week
  • Have experience working with Intapp Open
  • Ideally, be educated to degree level
