If you want to do more, because you care, we want you on our team.
We’re looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our Infiltration team at our head office in Coventry, with occasional travel to our Derby office.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As our Compliance Analyst, you’ll work on our Infiltration programme, which is focused on identifying, understanding and reducing infiltration (unwanted water) into the wastewater network. You’ll work closely with the Senior Analyst, to support the delivery of our data, monitoring, and analytics strategy, helping to develop systems, process and capabilities that will become the single source of truth for infiltration. You'll assist in transforming how we use data, from supporting the deployment of a strategic monitoring network to helping develop enhanced and predictive models, as well as creating dashboards that inform multi-million-pound investment decisions.
You will contribute to the delivery of the programme’s data, monitoring and analytics projects. This will involve identifying and analysing appropriate data sources, supporting the implementation of strategic monitoring techniques, and helping to develop and maintain the core data platform that underpins the programme.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

As part of your role, you will assist with the design, development and maintenance of the programme’s Infiltration Dashboard. This will provide a clear, intuitive, and trusted view of network performance for a wide range of stakeholders, from field teams through to senior leaders.
You’ll also support the development of methodologies used to quantify programme benefits, helping to translate operational outcomes, such as reduced flow, into auditable and measurable financial and regulatory benefits that demonstrate the values of our interventions.
You’ll provide valuable analytical and data support to teams involved in strategic investigation, delivery, and performance tracking. Your insights will be key to driving informed decisions across the board.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We’re looking for someone with strong data analysis skills and experience working with large, complex datasets to solve practical problems. Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, and platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik is important. You should have an analytical mindset and be keen to develop your skills in data management, reporting and visualisation while supporting the Senior Analyst in delivering data and analytics solutions.
Candidates from a range of technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including data science, engineering, environmental science, hydrogeology, physics, or asset management. Experience bridging real-world systems with data, particularly in utilities or telemetry, is valued but not essential. Familiarity with data platforms, governance, and quality management is desirable, as is knowledge of statistical modelling, predictive analytics, or machine learning. A degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics is preferred.
