Compliance Analyst – AML & CDD
£43,000–£48,000 | London | 6-month FTC | Hybrid
Are you already working within AML, CDD, KYC or legal risk and compliance and looking to build on that experience within an international law firm?
I'm recruiting a Compliance Analyst to join an established Risk & Compliance function on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on new business intake, client due diligence and financial crime compliance.
You'll be carrying out CDD across a varied client base, reviewing and analysing documentation, completing client risk assessments and undertaking PEP, sanctions and adverse-media screening. You'll also work closely with stakeholders across the firm, responding to CDD queries and supporting the wider team with conflicts, ongoing monitoring and file audits.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
