Compliance Analyst – London Market Insurance Broker
Location: London
Salary: £50,000
Hybrid: 1 / 2 days a week in London
The opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a specialist London Market insurance broker, part of a wider international insurance group, for a Compliance Analyst to join its growing compliance function.
This is a particularly good opportunity for someone with insurance broking experience who has developed an interest in compliance and is looking to build a long-term career within the function. The role will work closely with the existing Compliance Officer, supporting the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, Quality Assurance framework, regulatory reporting and management information across the business.
Crucially, there is a clear pathway to progress into a Compliance Officer position. This role is designed for someone who wants to develop their technical compliance knowledge, take on increasing responsibility and progress their career rather than remain at an analyst level.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
