About the Company

A leading alternative investment manager is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join its London-based Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious compliance professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced investment management environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters.

About the Role

The Compliance Analyst will support the ongoing development and maintenance of the firm's compliance framework.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the firm's compliance framework.
  • Assist in the delivery of the compliance monitoring programme, including thematic reviews and testing.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential business impacts.
  • Maintain compliance policies, procedures, and registers.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and filings.
  • Review marketing materials and financial promotions where required.
  • Support compliance advisory activities across investment, operations, distribution, and senior management teams.
  • Assist with incident management, breaches, and regulatory enquiries.
  • Contribute to compliance training and awareness initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years' experience within compliance, risk, or regulatory functions in financial services.
  • Understanding of the UK regulatory environment and FCA requirements.
  • Experience within asset management, investment management, alternatives, private markets, or financial services.
  • Exposure to hedge funds or alternative investment managers would be viewed favourably.
