About the role

Insite are seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the provision of compliance services to Insite’s heat network clients regarding Ofgem’s consumer protection regulations (Heat Network (Market Framework) (Great Britain) Regulations 2025).

The Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in supporting Insite Energy’s clients to meet upcoming regulatory requirements for heat network heat suppliers and operators. As a member of the Compliance team, they will ensure Insite clients are fully prepared for or working towards the standards and conditions required under Ofgem regulation.

This role involves liaising with internal departments and external client representatives to research and validate data, documents, and processes, maintaining the research findings within a dedicated system tracking the required activity against each regulatory requirement.

Key outputs from the compliance system are reports tracking a heat supplier or specific networks’ journey towards compliance, and when achieved to maintain it. The Compliance Analyst may also be the person responsible for completing submissions to government bodies on behalf of some clients.

The analyst will serve as an advisor to Insite’s internal departments, such as Client Experience, Customer Experience, Operations, and the wider business, supporting the delivery of fully compliant client-facing activities, solutions, and operational practices.

The role holder will project manage activities for each client to achieve regulatory compliance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
