London (Hybrid working available)
6-month contract (extension likely) - £200-£300 p/d
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join a growing Legal & Compliance team within a leading financial services organisation. This role will provide analytical and operational support across compliance activities, helping to ensure the business meets its regulatory obligations and maintains robust compliance standards.
The successful candidate will ideally have some exposure to client onboarding processes within a financial services environment and be looking to further develop their career in compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Onboarding & KYC
- Support the end-to-end client onboarding process.
- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and due diligence checks.
- Assist with onboarding requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK and Germany.
- Ensure client records are maintained accurately and in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

AML & Financial Crime Compliance
- Assist with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance activities.
- Support the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) function as required.
- Help monitor and maintain compliance with applicable financial crime regulations and internal controls.

General Compliance Support
- Respond to day-to-day compliance queries from business stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on internal compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support wider compliance initiatives, projects, monitoring activities, and regulatory reporting where required.
- Assist in maintaining compliance documentation, records, and procedures.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Proactive approach with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Desirable
- Previous experience working within a compliance, risk, onboarding, KYC, AML, or financial crime function.
- Experience within a financial services, banking, investment management, or capital markets environment.
- Familiarity with client due diligence and regulatory compliance processes.
