About Allica Bank

Allica is the UK’s fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.

Established SMEs are the backbone of local communities - representing over a third of our economy - yet have been largely neglected both by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.

Department Description

You will be joining an expanding regulatory team which continues to support the growth of the Bank. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, you will be part of a core team responsible for successfully delivering second line of defence oversight within the Bank and will have plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of Compliance within an SME focused bank.

Role Description

To support the development and implementation of the Bank’s Compliance Monitoring Programme. Ensuring that compliance processes and procedures are maintained and reviewed against existing bank processes, products, and regulatory guidelines. You will support the overall strategic direction of the business and always contributing to the bank’s commercial success whilst promoting the company’s values at all times.

Principal Accountabilities

Compliance

  • Support the continued development and implementation of the Bank’s Compliance Framework with a particular focus on the Compliance Monitoring Programme (“CMP”)
  • Undertaking monthly controls testing as defined in the CMP and preparing reports which will outline your results and suggested actions
  • Support the Senior Compliance Manager with undertaking business wide thematic reviews
  • Assist in the collection of data for our regulatory reporting requirements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
