Ready to make a real impact?
We’re looking for an IT Compliance & Cyber Security Analyst to join Personal Group, helping us strengthen our cyber security, compliance and resilience across the business.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and getting stuck in. You’ll work across security operations, audit and compliance, while partnering with technical and non-technical teams to keep our people, customers and business protected.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply tick boxes.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact, working across technology, security, compliance and the wider business to strengthen how we protect our customers, colleagues and organisation.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work across our diverse hybrid technology estate, including Microsoft 365 & Azure, AWS, on-premise infrastructure, SaaS applications and SIEM/SOC tooling.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing Level 2 cyber security support, covering vulnerability management, patching, identity, endpoint and cloud security.
- Maintaining and evidencing compliance across Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001, PCI DSS, GDPR and FCA-aligned controls.
- Supporting and coordinating internal and external audits, managing remediation and ensuring evidence is audit-ready.
- Leading responses to client security questionnaires, RFPs and supplier assurance reviews.
- Supporting security incident triage, investigation and response alongside SOC and IT Operations.
- Reviewing SIEM alerts and helping improve monitoring and logging.
- Maintaining security policies, procedures, risk assessments and control documentation.
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and improve our cyber security maturity.
- Producing clear technical documentation, runbooks and reporting for stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
