Are you looking to develop your career within an exciting and growing international recruitment business and consultancy?
We are seeking a proactive, organised and detail-oriented Compliance and Onboarding Specialist to join STR Group's Legal and Compliance Team. You will play an important role in ensuring that candidates, contractors and suppliers are onboarded compliantly and efficiently across our UK and international operations.

As a Compliance and Onboarding Specialist at STR, your role will include:
- Ensuring candidates and contractors in the UK and internationally are compliantly onboarded, with the correct contracts and documentation in place.
- Conducting right-to-work and identity checks and obtaining required qualifications, accreditations, references and role-specific documents.
- Monitoring contractor documentation throughout assignments and ensuring renewals are completed promptly.
- Conducting due diligence and onboarding suppliers, umbrella companies and international payroll providers.
- Ensuring limited company contractors have the required company information, insurance and IR35 Status Determination Statement or in-country equivalent.
- Managing international background checks, drug screening and DBS applications through STR's third-party providers.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client, candidate, contractor and compliance records across STR's CRM and shared systems.
- Preparing documentation for internal, client and accreditation audits and conducting regular compliance checks on placements.
- Supporting clients, consultants, candidates and contractors with legal, compliance and onboarding enquiries.

What we are looking for?
Whilst we offer training and ongoing support within a close-knit and collaborative team, we are ideally looking for someone with:
- Experience within recruitment, compliance, onboarding, administration or a similar environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation and record-keeping.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with candidates, contractors, clients and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive, responsible and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
