Compliance and Platform Governance Manager

The Opportunity

Within the Global Digital Client Platforms & Client Engagement team, we are shaping the future of digital client interaction. To support our global platform landscape, we are looking for an experienced professional to establish governance standards, coordinate international stakeholders, and ensure the secure and consistent evolution of platforms.

What awaits you?

  • Own and continuously develop governance, compliance, customer data governance, and risk management across the global digital platforms.
  • Establish and operate governance frameworks, policies, controls, reporting structures, and decision-making processes to ensure compliant, transparent, and sustainable platform operations.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy, compliance, access governance, and regulatory requirements, including user onboarding/offboarding, approval workflows, and role-based access management across.
  • Lead audit readiness and audit operations across the digital client platform landscape, coordinating internal and external audits (e.g. AZ, ISA, and TÜV), maintaining audit documentation, and ensuring audit-compliant processes and controls.
  • Coordinate and influence global stakeholders across regions, retail partners, Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Product (Owner) Teams, and relevant business functions to implement governance and compliance requirements effectively.
  • Define and maintain governance standards for client-facing communities, including participation guidelines, moderation processes, escalation procedures, and compliance controls.
  • Advise and support Platform and Product Owner teams in the practical implementation of governance and compliance requirements in line with "Governance by Design" and "Privacy by Design" principles, while enabling continuous evolution of digital client experiences.
  • Ensure transparent documentation of processes, roles, responsibilities, and governance decisions across the platform ecosystem, including the preparation of decision-making materials for management and stakeholders.
  • Define and maintain governance standards for client-facing communities, including user eligibility, internal participation guidelines, moderation processes, escalation procedures, and compliance controls.
  • Operate and continuously improve governance processes, controls, committees, reporting structures, and risk management practices, ensuring transparency of decisions, actions, risks, and compliance status across the platform landscape.

What you should bring along?

  • Several years of professional experience in Digital Governance, Platform Management, Compliance, Risk Management, or a comparable function within an international environment.
  • Proven experience in establishing and developing governance frameworks, processes, policies, and control mechanisms for digital products and platforms.
  • Experience in coordinating internal and external audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation, controls, and governance processes.
  • Experience with user lifecycle management, access governance, role concepts, and approval workflows within digital platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with regions, markets, business functions, IT teams, and external partners.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy, compliance, governance, risk management, role, and access management concepts and their application within digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements into practical operational processes and controls.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills, combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, and the ability to balance governance requirements with business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders across business, legal, compliance, and technology functions in an international environment.
  • Fluent English language skills, together with strong communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Optional / Nice to Have

  • Experience within the automotive industry or international premium and luxury brand organizations.
  • Knowledge of Group governance, data privacy, and approval processes.
  • Experience with digital platforms such as mobile applications, CRM (ideally Salesforce), community, connected car, or client engagement solutions.
  • Experience with client communities, membership programs, or digital luxury client ecosystems.
  • Experience working within agile product and software development environments.
