Compliance Assistant
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (FTE)
Hours: Part-time - 21 hours per week
Work Arrangement: Hybrid working available
We're working with a specialist law firm to recruit a Compliance Assistant to join their compliance team. This is a varied administrative role supporting the firm's compliance function, with full training provided.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Associate Solicitor for Compliance, you'll support with file reviews, client onboarding checks, data protection processes and general compliance administration across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Managing the file review schedule, generating review documents and logging returns
- Supporting file opening processes, including identification verification and source of funds checks
- Managing checks relating to consent for processing personal data
- Providing general administrative support to the compliance team
- Assisting other members of the firm with compliance-related tasks

What we need from you
- Previous administrative experience within a professional services environment, ideally a law firm
- Strong IT and keyboard skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, including setting up and extracting data from spreadsheets
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Thorough and methodical approach to work
- Professional and approachable manner

- Salary up to £28,000 per annum – Pro-rata salary of £16,800 per annum
- 21 hours per week
