Compliance & Assurance Specialist | 6 Month Contract
📍 Wokingham | Hybrid, 3 days onsite mandatory
💷 Circa £320/day | Inside IR35
🏭 Critical national infrastructure environment

We're working with a major transformation programme to find a Compliance & Assurance Specialist to strengthen governance, risk, and assurance activities across an IT infrastructure estate. This is a hands on role covering audit evidence, control reviews, and compliance reporting at a senior stakeholder level.

What you'll do
- Lead and coordinate compliance and assurance activities across the infrastructure estate
- Prepare audit evidence packs and support internal and external audits
- Run compliance assessments, control reviews, and gap analysis
- Produce executive level compliance reports and dashboards
- Maintain policies, procedures, and control documentation
- Act as a trusted compliance advisor to technical and business stakeholders

What you'll need
- Proven experience in Compliance, Governance, Risk, Assurance, or Audit roles
- Strong IT infrastructure knowledge
- Working knowledge of NIS-CAF and ISO 27001, 22301, or 9001
- Active SC Clearance, or eligible and willing to obtain it
- Comfortable working onsite 3 days a week in Wokingham
Nice to have: familiarity with enterprise networking technologies and critical national infrastructure or other highly regulated sectors.
