🚨 Operational Compliance Auditor 🚨
📍 UK – ideally M1/M6 corridor
💰 £40,000 + £4,000 car allowance
🚗 80% field-based | 20% home-based
I’m currently recruiting for an Operational Compliance Auditor to join a Risk & Assurance team, carrying out audits across a UK-wide property portfolio.
This role would suit someone with experience in compliance, auditing, inspections, Health & Safety, operations, risk, or assurance, who enjoys working independently and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
🔍 What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out operational compliance audits across UK properties
- Reviewing Health & Safety, fire, security, and operational controls
- Identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Producing clear and concise audit reports and executive summaries
- Presenting findings to stakeholders and senior leaders
- Working with operational teams to support agreed improvement actions
- Managing your own audit programme and property visit schedule

You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, travelling regularly, and taking an objective, evidence-based approach to compliance.

Strong Word and Excel skills are also important, as you’ll be responsible for producing detailed audit reports.
You don’t need a traditional Big Four audit background — practical experience within compliance, operational auditing, H&S, inspections, risk, or assurance is highly relevant.
