Play a vital role in protecting food safety, quality, and compliance standards across our manufacturing operation.
Role Overview
As a Compliance Auditor, you'll play a key role within the Technical team, supporting the delivery of safe, legal, and high-quality products. Working closely with Production and Technical colleagues, you'll help maintain compliance standards, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure factory operations consistently meet customer, legislative, and company requirements.
Key Duties
- Champion food safety, product quality, and good manufacturing practice across the site.
- Conduct routine compliance and quality audits to verify standards are being achieved.
- Monitor production activities and support the continuous improvement of factory standards.
- Ensure compliance processes align with customer requirements, industry standards, and legislation.
- Carry out routine calibration activities in line with site schedules.
- Support investigations into non-conformances and help drive corrective actions to completion.
- Maintain accurate traceability records and compliance documentation.
- Promote the correct use of PPE and site hygiene standards at all times.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a Compliance, Quality, Technical, or Food Safety position within food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Good understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and manufacturing compliance requirements.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships across departments.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining standards.
- Able to identify issues, investigate root causes, and support practical solutions.
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a wider team.
- Committed to continuous improvement and driving high standards throughout the operation.
