Our client, a top global law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced and professional Compliance Auditor to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working in their Business Intake & Conflicts Team.

You’ll be working for a firm that represents the world’s major corporations, financial institutions and funds in their complex transactions and disputes. Situated within the Business Intake & Conflicts Team, you’ll be working with an experienced team and have close contact with senior stakeholders at the firm.

As the successful Compliance Auditor, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Assisting with the coordination and handling of Client Audits, for the purposes of risk management.
  • Preparing draft audit packages for review, as well as creating reports on audit activity.
  • Researching information such as client financials and matter history within designated timeframes.
  • Tracking and reporting monthly usage of databases and highlighting/identifying issues.
  • Handling special requests for research on companies and/or individuals.
  • Reviewing audit and risk reports on potential findings.
  • Updating documentation in relation to completed audits for referencing and follow ups.

Requirements

To be considered for this Compliance Auditor opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:

  • Have a minimum of 2/3 years as Compliance Auditor, Internal Auditor, Client Audit Analyst or within Quality Assurance.
  • Be educated to degree level (ideally, LLB/GDL).
  • Be able to commute to the London office three days a week.
  • Preferably, have knowledge of conflicts clearance and new client/matter opening.
  • Preferably, be familiar with Aderant and be able to create reports by writing SQL scripts (or be interested in learning/trained).
