We're partnering with a leading banking client seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major Compliance programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BA with strong regulatory change experience to work closely with Compliance, Technology, and Business stakeholders on high-profile initiatives across AML, KYC, and Sanctions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements.
  • Produce high-quality requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and testing documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders to design and deliver business and technology solutions.
  • Support testing activities, including SIT and UAT.
  • Perform data analysis and reconciliation to support project delivery.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Compliance processes and systems.
  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.

Required Experience

  • Proven Business Analyst experience within a leading bank or consultancy.
  • Strong Financial Crime knowledge, including:
    • AML
    • KYC
    • Sanctions Screening
  • Experience working across the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of banking products including Bonds, Derivatives, FX, Securities Financing, and Loans & Deposits.
  • Experience with data analysis and reconciliation.
  • SQL knowledge.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with Front Office trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Apex, or Murex.

Ideal Consultant

You'll be a delivery-focused Business Analyst who can operate confidently within complex banking environments, translate business needs into clear requirements, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams.
