A prestigious international Bank is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer who can support them on a project with Communications Monitoring capability and understanding and associated IT aspects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively managing the compliance relationships and coordination with Vendors, Head Office, and IT with the implementation of a new screening solution
  • Providing practical troubleshooting support with the system e.g., use case reviews, testing coordination, data quality, performance optimisation, keyword effectiveness
  • Investigating screening issues identified by the Compliance team and coordinating with IT and third-party resources to resolve with alternative solutions
  • Business-side administration of the current Communication Monitoring Tool
  • Making proposals to optimise the existing screening algorithms and lexicons
  • Conducting Quality Assurance analysis on the current monitoring process

Your experience must include:

  • Extensive proven experience in Compliance, advising on regulatory requirements for Communications Surveillance gained within banking
  • Communication Monitoring System implementation and/or testing experience
  • Communication Monitoring Tools experience e.g. Arctera, Purview, Global Relay
  • Strong data investigation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise at all levels

This is a hybrid role - working three days a week in the London office and two days remotely, however for the first couple of months the successful candidate will likely be required to work 5 days a week in the office.
