Compliance Coordinator

EF Brighton

Full-time/Permanent


Become a vital part of the EF Brighton campus team, helping to elevate accommodation standards and enhance customer satisfaction. In this compliance-driven role, you'll ensure that EF policies and British Council accreditation requirements are met, providing students with a safe and welcoming environment throughout their educational journey.

Your Role

We are looking for a dynamic individual with attention to detail and enthusiasm to continue to improve accommodation standards and increase customer satisfaction. You will work together with the Accommodation team ensuring that all our admin and documents are up to date for host families and staff, in accordance with EF policy and British Council.

Ensuring an elevated level of record-keeping in a fast-paced environment will be one of your highest priorities. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with host families and help them complete all paperwork by phone or when visiting hosts. Ensuring the quality of our accommodation provision to our customers will be an essential part of the role.


Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the organisation’s compliance with regulations and internal policies to ensure they are up to date with relevant laws
  • Manage the information flow and perform due diligence checks of new and current host families
  • Performing administrative tasks such as file creation, data input, data analysis, record keeping and correspondence
  • Educating employees on compliance regulations and the impact of non-compliance on the organisation
  • Following up with management to ensure any issues are rectified
  • Reviewing marketing materials, and websites to ensure compliance.
  • Assisting in the gathering of information internally in response to requests by regulatory organisations
  • Support the accommodation team in day-to-day running of the department
  • Provide excellent customer service to host families and students
  • Shares emergency on call duties with other school staff

Requirements

  • Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality
  • Friendly and approachable manner, not afraid to speak to strangers
  • Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
  • A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and acts positively under pressure
  • Passionate about providing outstanding customer service
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
  • All offers are subject to a clear DBS check and two references
