Compliance Coordinator (Interim, 3 Months, Remote, UK Based)
We are currently recruiting an interim Compliance Coordinator to join our Legal, Ethics & Compliance team.
This is a remote, temporary 3-month position open to candidates based in the UK. The role will be full-time, offering a salary of circa. £36k per annum.

About the Opportunity
The Compliance Coordinator plays an important role in supporting Relief International's Legal, Ethics and Compliance function and helping ensure the organization maintains robust systems for incident management, ethics reporting and risk management. Working closely with the Global Investigations Director and colleagues across Human Resources, Security, Country Offices and senior leadership teams, you will help strengthen accountability and support the effective management of incidents across our global operations.
This role combines incident management coordination, compliance monitoring, reporting, policy support and data analysis. You will maintain incident management systems, track investigation recommendations, support policy implementation and produce high-quality reporting and analysis that helps inform decision-making at both management and board level. The successful candidate will be highly organized, analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to ethics, accountability and humanitarian principles.

Your Responsibilities
This role includes the following responsibilities.
- Coordinate and maintain Relief International's incident management system, ensuring incidents are accurately logged, triaged, documented and managed in accordance with policy requirements.
- Support global and country-level incident management processes, working with Incident Management Teams and technical case leads to promote timely case resolution.
- Track and monitor implementation of recommendations arising from investigations and support follow-up activities across the organization.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability by supporting ethical incident reporting and helping strengthen internal systems and processes.
- Produce reports and analysis on incident management trends for senior leadership, governance bodies and other stakeholders.
- Support compliance with donor, regulatory and organizational reporting obligations relating to ethics, safeguarding and security incidents.
- Assist with policy development, updates and implementation across the Legal, Ethics and Compliance function.
- Work collaboratively with Human Resources, Safety & Security, Country Offices and other departments to strengthen ethical incident management and organizational compliance.
About You
You will bring the following experience and skills.
- Experience working in compliance, incident management, whistleblowing, investigations support, governance, risk management or another related function.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience supporting case management processes or working within incident management systems including triage.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with data, reporting tools and information management systems.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications. Experience using Navex Ethicspoint is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Understanding of governance, accountability, ethics or compliance principles within international organizations is highly desirable. Previous experience in the humanitarian or development sector and Arabic or French language skills would be an advantage.
