An exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance Director to lead a global compliance function within an innovative organisation in the high-value medical technology sector, operating within stringent quality and regulatory environments.
Reporting to the board
Reporting to the board, you will drive a best-in-class compliance programme, ensuring strong governance and adherence to global ethical, legal, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the global compliance framework (policies, risk, governance)
- Provide expert guidance on anti-bribery, GDPR, export controls, and ethics
- Support alignment with global regulatory and quality standards (e.g. ISO frameworks and medical device regulations)
- Oversee whistleblowing (Speak Up) processes and investigations
- Drive compliance risk assessments and regulatory horizon scanning
- Deliver training to embed a strong culture of integrity and accountability
- Partner globally to ensure compliance is embedded across operations

About You
- Proven experience in a senior global compliance role
- Strong knowledge of international regulations (e.g. UK Bribery Act, GDPR, FCPA)
- Experience working within regulated, quality-driven environments (e.g. medical devices, life sciences, or similar)
- Understanding of ISO and regulatory frameworks within a broader compliance context
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
