Compliance Engineer – Driving Quality, Safety & Environmental Standards
Location: Leamington Spa
Permanent

As a Compliance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing management systems while supporting quality, environmental, health & safety and wider legislative compliance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Of The Compliance Engineer
- Conduct and support internal and external audits against ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Maintain, develop and continually improve management systems and compliance processes.
- Monitor relevant legislation, regulations and industry requirements.
- Provide guidance across the business on legislative and regulatory compliance matters.
- Maintain compliance records, procedures, documentation and supporting evidence.
- Identify non-compliance and work collaboratively with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Support environmental, health & safety, quality and wider legislative compliance requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable packaging regulations, the WEEE Directive and Batteries Regulations.
- Monitor legislative changes and assess their potential impact on the organisation.
- Support compliance assessments, audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel to other sites as required to undertake audits and support consistent compliance standards.
- Work with internal teams, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are understood and effectively managed.
- Promote a positive culture of compliance, continuous improvement and high standards.
