We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Executive to join our Compliance Team to focus on the data protection administration within the organisation. The Compliance Executive will be responsible for the fulfilment of data subject rights requests (including Data Subject Access Requests, erasure requests, rectification requests etc) and the investigation of data protection complaints, as well as supporting the Compliance Team Leader in. This role involves ensuring adherence to data protection regulations, implementing compliance policies, and conducting regular audits to safeguard sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and respond to Data Subject Access Requests, and other data subject rights requests, in line with legal and procedural standards.
  • Support investigations and draft responses to data protection-related complaints under the guidance of the Compliance Team Leader.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure adherence to data compliance requirements.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including the closure of PCNs at the end of their enforcement cycle, handling driver nominations, and other routine duties.
  • Investigate complex queries by gathering supporting evidence, liaising with accounts and sales teams, and escalating to the Compliance Team Leader when needed.
  • Assist the Compliance Team Leader in developing and updating internal policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about updates to data protection legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of legislative and regulatory developments related to PCN (Parking Charge Notice) enforcement.

Who You Are

  • You are a detail-oriented individual with knowledge of data protection regulations like GDPR.
  • You have administration experience including document preparation, data entry, and responding to internal and external queries.
  • You ensure effective communication and are proactive, accurate, and committed to staying updated on compliance best practices.
  • You will be a person who will want to take an active role in the Compliance Team, providing support to both the team and team manager.

Salary

  • £26,436.80 per annum

Hours

  • 40 per week; Monday Friday 9am - 5.00pm

Location

  • Slough / Newton Abbot / Lancing / Stafford
