Salary: €32,000–€35,000 per annum, depending on experience

Role overview
We are seeking an organised, proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support the day-to-day HR and Compliance function. The successful candidate will work closely with HR, Recruitment and Compliance to maintain accurate records, coordinate onboarding administration and support employees throughout the employee lifecycle. The role requires strong follow-through, discretion and a collaborative approach across departments.
Key responsibilities
Compliance
- Support the collection and tracking of Garda Vetting documents, references, qualifications, training certificates and other required records.
- Assist with monitoring document expiry dates and communicate outstanding requirements to relevant colleagues.
- Maintain consistency between HR, Recruitment and Compliance records and systems.
- Prepare and organise employee documentation for internal audits and file reviews.
HR administration
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across the employee lifecycle, from joining to leaving Right at Home.
- Maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date employee files and HR records.
- Prepare offer letters, confirmation letters and other routine HR correspondence.
- Support annual leave, sickness absence, employee changes and leaver administration.
- Maintain HR trackers and assist with reports and management information as required.
- Respond to routine employee queries and refer more complex matters to the relevant HR team member.
- Handle personal data confidentially and in accordance with GDPR and internal procedures.

Recruitment and onboarding support
- Coordinate with Recruitment to support the transition from candidate selection to employment.
- Prepare, collect and track new-starter paperwork and follow up on outstanding information.
- Support the scheduling, induction and training where required.
- Keep recruitment and onboarding trackers accurate and communicate new-starter updates to relevant teams.
Role boundary: The HR Administrator supports compliance administration and coordination; decisions on compliance clearance remain with the designated Compliance manager and managers.

Skills and experience
Essential
- Previous experience in administration, ideally within HR, recruitment or a people-focused environment.
- Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Clear written and verbal communication and the ability to follow up professionally.
- Ability to prioritise competing tasks and work effectively in a busy office.
- Discretion in handling confidential employee information.
- A collaborative attitude with the ability to work independently.
Desirable
- Experience in home care, healthcare or social care.
- Familiarity with onboarding, employee compliance documentation and recordkeeping.
- Experience with HR systems, applicant tracking or employee management software.
- Understanding of GDPR in an HR setting.
- A qualification in HR, business administration or a related field.
