Compliance Lead

Cheshire, Hybrid Working
£35,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Benefits

Sellick Partnership is currently partnered with a fast-growing technology business to recruit a Compliance Lead on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation specialising in external workforce management, helping businesses manage the compliance and risk associated with contractors, consultants, agencies, and other external workers.

The role will focus heavily on IR35, employment status and worker classification, with the successful candidate acting as a key point of contact for clients. The business uses AI technology to support the assessment process, meaning you will provide the technical oversight, sense-check assessments and advise clients on the appropriate approach.

Responsibilities

The Compliance Lead will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert on IR35, off-payroll working and employment status
  • Reviewing and overseeing AI-supported worker classification and IR35 assessments
  • Providing clear, practical advice to clients on assessment outcomes and compliance requirements
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships and supporting clients through onboarding and BAU
  • Reviewing and drafting contracts and service agreements where required
  • Supporting the continued development of the platform through client feedback and market insight
  • Helping clients identify and manage wider workforce compliance risks
  • Representing the business in client meetings, training sessions and industry events
  • Supporting the company's growth as it expands into new international markets

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
