About The Role
Balfour Beatty are partnering with The MEH Alliance, playing a key role in delivering one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Compliance Management Assistant to support our Learning & Development team and help ensure our workforce remains compliant, competent and ready to deliver.
What you'll be doing
Responsibilities
As a Compliance Management Assistant, you will provide vital administrative support to the Learning & Development function, helping to maintain training and compliance records across the MEH Joint Venture. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining training records and course completion evidence
- Producing training expiry and compliance reports
- Creating and updating role profiles within the Compliance Management System (CMS)
- Processing new starter information
- Supporting the L&D mailbox and responding to training-related enquiries
- Working with onboarding teams to ensure compliance and qualification requirements are met
- Collating and managing data accurately
- Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing confidential information professionally and appropriately
Who we're looking for
We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data, systems and people.
You'll Ideally Have
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Experience in a busy administrative environment
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working within an HR, Learning & Development or compliance environment would be advantageous
