Compliance Manager

This role is largely remote with the occasional travel.

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to assist the Compliance Function in achieving its core objective of ensuring the Group complies with all relevant regulations whilst promoting a strong and effective compliance culture.

The Role

The Role holder is responsible for supporting the SMF 16 in delivering the Group's regulatory governance framework, including regulatory reporting, regulatory change and SMCR governance activities.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Provide support to regulatory engagement activities with the FCA and PRA as required, maintain regulatory engagement logs and action trackers, and support the Group's regulatory engagement strategy and framework.
• Support the operation of the Group's SMCR framework through the maintenance of SMCR records and governance documentation, supporting Senior Managers in evidencing compliance with their responsibilities.
• Prepare regulatory returns in accordance with regulatory deadlines and maintain documented procedures supporting the regulatory returns process.
• Maintain and review compliance-related policies and procedures, including training and governance policies.
• Support the completion of regulatory notifications and permissions-related activities where required.
• Monitor emerging regulatory developments through horizon scanning, and support the delivery of regulatory change initiatives.
• Assist with preparation of Compliance reporting for Boards, Committees and senior management.
• Manage the Compliance inbox and ensure queries are responded to or escalated appropriately.
