Permanent Compliance Manager

Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Remote, offering flexibility in where you work. Please note that regular travel throughout the UK is a key requirement of the role, including visits to operational sites, client locations and team meetings.
Salary: Competitive + Car Allowance
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Join our vibrant and inclusive Complex Facilities team, supporting the delivery of critical facilities management services within a highly secure environment. This role is central to ensuring statutory compliance, operational assurance and health and safety standards are consistently achieved across a complex and mission-critical estate.

As Compliance Manager, you will lead a team of technical professionals, working closely with Delivery Managers, clients and operational teams to ensure compliance obligations are met and maintained. Your expertise will help protect essential infrastructure, support service excellence and drive continuous improvement across the contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities management professional who enjoys influencing standards, developing teams and delivering assurance in a challenging and rewarding environment.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and deliver assurance audits across the contract, ensuring statutory and mandatory compliance requirements are consistently achieved.
  • Partner with Delivery Managers and operational teams to identify risks, improve performance and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching and compliance training to support operational excellence across the business.
  • Monitor and promote high standards of health, safety and compliance, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and Service Level Agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing trusted advice and professional support.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to strengthen compliance processes and operational effectiveness.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance requirements and facilities management standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • Experience within facilities management, estates management or a similar operational environment (Essential).
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance management.
  • Strong report writing, analytical and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, prioritise workloads and work proactively to resolve issues.
  • Facilities Management qualification (Desirable).
  • Customer-focused approach with a collaborative and flexible mindset.
