Are you an experienced Food Safety Manager, Quality Manager, or a Technical Manager within a food manufacturing environment, and looking for your next challenge? We have a new opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager in our Bristol Bakery.

Our Compliance Manager is the food safety and hygiene subject matter expert and will lead our operations in achieving and improving our compliance standards. You will support the site to always be audit ready for unannounced BRC audits, working with Kosher and Halal food standards, and have experience of managing external audits in your previous roles.

You’ll be our safe pair of hands, able to pick up the day to day from a supported handover whilst also being able to make your own impact with ongoing projects. We have a brilliant team in Bristol and with additional support from our Centre Quality teams, you’ll be able to hit the ground running.

The Recipe

Working closely with the Food Quality team and Manufacturing teams you will be the food safety & hygiene lead to ensure processes are proactively managed using evidence led data, continuous improvement techniques that are measured by company KPI’s and implementing the Unbeatable Quality Strategy to ensure Warburtons manufactures and distributes products to the required standard.

As part of our food technical management team and as our Compliance Manager, you will work in close conjunction with production, health & safety, and hygiene teams, driving a mixed agenda of planned and reactive work through quality and consistent processes. You will be able to build relationships quickly and effectively with the national Quality Compliance team, suppliers, auditors for food safety & hygiene and other site contacts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
