Compliance Manager opportunity working with a top performing opportunity specialty insurer operating within the Lloyd’s market.

Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will take ownership on a broad range of duties, particularly areas surrounding Conduct Risk, Advisory and Monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Conduct Risk framework, including Consumer Duty, Product Governance, vulnerable customers and product value/lifecycle reviews.
  • Provide senior oversight of compliance reporting, governance papers, complaints, thematic reviews and remediation across UK and international operations.
  • Review and challenge policies, procedures and controls, ensuring regulatory alignment and effective risk management.
  • Lead compliance monitoring across contract certainty, licensing, financial crime/AML and Lloyd’s Insurance Company Europe.
  • Own regulatory reporting to the PRA, FCA and Lloyd’s, alongside compliance reporting to the parent company.
  • Assess regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on impact and implementation.
  • Own Financial Promotion sign-off, providing senior advice and constructive challenge to the business.
  • Act as a senior compliance adviser, supporting the Head of Compliance and providing guidance across the Group.

  • 5 years’ compliance experience within the Lloyd’s market.
  • Must have a strong understanding of Consumer Duty and Product Governance.
  • Thorough understanding of PRA, FCA and Lloyd’s requirements, including Lloyd’s Principles.
