Compliance Manager | Reinsurance | London |
I’m exclusively recruiting for a Compliance Manager with a specialist reinsurance business in the London market.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong reinsurance compliance experience who wants to take ownership of a broad compliance remit. They’re open to someone stepping up into their first management role, as well as an experienced Compliance Manager.
What the role covers:
- Owning the compliance policies and procedures framework and annual Compliance Monitoring Plan
- FCA regulatory reporting end-to-end, including internal review and approval
- Licensing documentation, permissions and renewals across the operating entities
- Broker TOBA management and annual broker checks
- Managing the outsourced compliance provider
- Coordinating internal audits and external control testing
- Governance and company secretarial support, including Board and committee coordination
- Compliance training, Board reporting and issue management
- Supporting the reinsurance entity and European branch/operations

What they’re looking for:


Get help with your application

- Reinsurance experience is essential
- Compliance experience within an insurer or reinsurer, ideally within the London market
- Strong, hands-on FCA regulatory reporting experience
- Someone comfortable getting into the detail and managing the day-to-day compliance agenda
- International / European entity or branch experience would be beneficial
Useful but not essential: SOX control testing, GDPR/privacy exposure and OneTrust (or similar).
