Main duties

  • Manage Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) programmes across a portfolio of 600+ properties, ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for fire risk assessors, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders, coordinating all fire safety activities.
  • Review Fire Risk Assessment findings and recommendations, supporting risk-based decisions and ensuring appropriate remedial actions are implemented.
  • Lead fire safety improvement and remediation programmes, including fire door inspections and corrective works arising from compliance reviews.
  • Monitor contractor performance, service delivery, quality standards, and compliance, escalating risks and issues where required.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and produce management reports, governance updates, audit documentation, and performance data.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance fire safety processes, strengthen compliance outcomes, and promote best practice across the organisation.

  • Proven experience managing compliance, governance, auditing, and risk management activities within highly regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, with a track record of maintaining compliance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Skilled in reviewing assessments, performance data, and operational processes, identifying risks and challenging findings to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Extensive experience managing external stakeholders, contractors, commissioners, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale operational programmes, coordinate complex services, and deliver against key performance indicators.
  • Experienced in producing management reports, compliance documentation, governance updates, audit findings, and performance reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to drive service quality, manage change, and support organisational objectives.
