About the Compliance Manager job

The purpose of your role will be to keep your finger on the regulatory pulse to guide the company’s local and global expansion plans.

  • Manage their health and nutrition claims register so that they can tell their story powerfully and compliantly.
  • Host internal and third-party audits to maintain site certifications (GMP, Soil Association, Vegan Society, etc.).
  • Onboarding and auditing ethical vendors to ensure all raw ingredients match the company’s strict sustainability standards.
  • Delivering engaging compliance training across the business to foster a company-wide hunger for doing things right.

About You

With an eye for the tiniest of details, you will have a continuous-improvement mindset, turning standard operating procedures and audit findings into practical solutions for growth. In addition:

  • You will have a degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Law, or Business, coupled with 3–5+ years of compliance experience in food, nutraceuticals, or regulated FMCG.
  • A strong understanding on UK and EU food supplement and labelling laws (FSA & EFSA) and certification frameworks (BRCGS, SALSA, or GMP).
  • Proven experience writing SOPs, managing a QMS and handling CAPA / complaints with absolute confidence.
  • Ideally knowledge of international export markets (US, Canada, Australia) or Soil Association Organic standards and B Corp experience – both would be a huge plus!

The Compliance Manager job (ref 9119) is based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex and is paying £50,000 - £60,000 according to your experience.
