Group Manager - Compliance (Europe) 📍 Europe | Hybrid Working
Are you an experienced compliance professional looking to make a significant impact within a complex international business?
We're partnering with a leading global organisation to appoint a Group Manager - Compliance (Europe). This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance specialist with strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, data privacy, anti-bribery and corruption, and corporate compliance programmes to join a highly collaborative European team.
The Opportunity Reporting into senior compliance leadership, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the European compliance framework across multiple jurisdictions. This position offers broad exposure to compliance, governance, data protection, third-party due diligence, training, investigations, and policy development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support due diligence activities relating to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and third-party engagements.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and identify process improvement opportunities across European operations.
- Assist in the implementation and continuous maintenance of data privacy frameworks, including privacy impact assessments and records management.
- Develop, review and update compliance policies and procedures in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Research and monitor European regulatory developments, ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable legislation.
- Support compliance training programmes, awareness campaigns and reporting analytics for leadership teams.
- Create practical compliance resources, guidance notes, case studies and learning materials for employees.
- Collaborate closely with regional stakeholders and global compliance teams to promote a strong culture of ethics and compliance.

About You To be successful in this role, you will likely have:
- A degree in Law, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience within a compliance, legal or regulatory environment, ideally in a multinational organisation.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, UK Bribery Act requirements, anti-bribery and corruption regulations, competition law and economic sanctions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong project management, organisational and analytical abilities.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and cultures.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills.
- Fluent English, with additional European languages considered advantageous.
