About DayOne Data Centers
DayOne Data Centers is a Singapore-headquartered global digital infrastructure platform that develops and operates next-generation data centers across Asia Pacific and Europe. Trusted by leading hyperscalers and businesses, the company engineers, builds, and operates high-capacity, AI-ready campuses with speed, scale, and reliability.
About DayOne
DayOne builds and operates hyperscale data centers across eight markets in APAC and Europe.
DayOne is a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centers. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, we’ve built a robust presence across Asia and our journey in Europe is just getting started.
As we expand into new international markets, we’re looking for talented, driven individuals to join us on this exciting journey. This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.
We raised US$4.5B in Series C funding, and we're building the internal functions to match that scale. Many of our corporate functions are still being built rather than inherited. The processes, systems and ways of working need to be defined by the people joining them.
Location
We welcome applications from candidates in London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris, or Helsinki. Business travel within Europe may be required from time to time.
About the Role
As DayOne grows across Europe and the European Economic Area, its compliance framework must keep pace with regulatory obligations, governance standards, and ethical business practices across multiple jurisdictions. As Compliance Manager, you'll help build the scalable policies, risk-management processes, and controls that make this possible. The role will involve designing, implementing, and monitoring compliance risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures, supporting regulatory change implementation across jurisdictions, and promoting a culture of ethics, accountability, and integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy and Procedures Development/Management: Review, draft, update, and disseminate compliance policies, procedures, and desk instructions for EU and EEA operations. Monitor key policy areas including gifts and hospitality, conflicts of interest, related party transactions, personal account dealing/insider trading, anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, and data privacy.
- Screening & Monitoring: Manage screening and monitoring processes in conjunction with onboarding and business teams, including due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and tracking of higher-risk vendors, customers, counterparties, and other relevant third parties across EU and EEA countries.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities across EU and EEA operations and support implementation of corrective actions. Maintain compliance risk assessment records, dashboards, and reporting materials for management and governance updates.
- Regulatory/Requirements Monitoring: Track, assess, and communicate new and evolving EU, EEA, and local jurisdictional laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and industry expectations affecting the business. Support affected business units in implementing key requirements consistently across relevant countries.
- Training: Develop, coordinate, and deliver engaging compliance training programs for employees and management across EU and EEA countries. Support periodic training and attestations for key policies, including conflicts of interest, anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, whistleblowing, market conduct, and data privacy.
- Incident Management: Support investigations of compliance breaches, whistleblower reports, data privacy incidents, and other compliance matters. Liaise with Legal, HR, Information Security, business stakeholders, and external advisers where required, while maintaining appropriate audit trails and mitigation follow-up.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
