Overview
Join a successful recycling team as a Compliance Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization adheres to all regulatory standards and internal policies. Specifically, this will be to manage site health and safety, employment law, and ISO systems. - Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive compliance programs aligned with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Lead internal audits to assess adherence to financial, operational, and regulatory standards, identifying areas for improvement.
- Oversee regulatory reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate submission of required documentation to authorities.
- Monitor changes in health and safety, environmental, and employment law; and industry best practices to keep the organization ahead of compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance management into daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on compliance policies, ethical standards, and risk mitigation practices.
- Investigate compliance issues or breaches promptly, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in compliance management within an industrial business.
- NEBOSH or other H&S qualification.
- HR experience desired but not essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and a desire to reduce admin.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents and translate them into actionable policies.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively train teams and report findings to senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
