We’re hiring: Regulatory Compliance & Solutions Manager

Water Compliance | Packaging | Product & Commercial Change

12-month fixed-term contract | UK

Hybrid - 3/4 days per week in the office

I’m supporting a confidential search for a UK-based manufacturer of water treatment and filtration products.

This is a business-critical role focused on helping the organisation navigate changing water and packaging regulations while protecting product availability and market access across the UK and Europe.

Water compliance experience is the most important requirement. We’re looking for someone with practical exposure to areas such as:

  • Drinking-water-contact materials, water treatment, filtration, plumbing or sanitary products
  • The EU Drinking Water Directive and Article 11 requirements
  • National approval schemes such as WRAS, ACS, KTW/BWGL, DM 174, KIWA, Belgaqua or equivalent
  • Product testing, certification and re-certification programmes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Packaging compliance experience is also highly desirable, particularly PPWR, recyclability, labelling and Extended Producer Responsibility obligations across European markets.

Crucially, this is not a role for someone who only interprets regulations and identifies problems.

The successful person will be able to:

  • Track and map changing UK and EU regulations
  • Understand the product, operational and commercial implications
  • Develop practical technical or commercial solutions
  • Work closely with Product, R&D, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain
  • Present clear options to senior leadership and influence investment and change
  • Establish delivery plans, remove blockers and drive solutions through to implementation

The ideal candidate may not be a traditional career compliance specialist. They will, however, have strong water-compliance knowledge, sound commercial judgement and a demonstrable track record of turning complex regulatory requirements into workable solutions.

This would suit someone hands-on, pragmatic and action-oriented—someone who can spot the issue, bring the right people together and take ownership of delivering the fix.

If this sounds like you, or someone in your network, please get in touch for a confidential conversation.
