HEAD OF COMPLIANCE & MLRO

The London branch of an European commercial bank are looking for SMF16/17 to join their busy City-based office to oversee a small team.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Head of Compliance & MLRO

  • Maintaining internal Compliance/AML/monitoring frameworks
  • Providing advice and guidance to senior stakeholders
  • Dealing with conflicts and PA Dealing/gifts requests
  • Assessing the commercial impact of new regulations
  • Updating policies and holding the Data Protection Officer position.

Qualities & Attributes required to be a Head of Compliance & MLRO

You will have previous banking experience ideally from a capital markets/FX/treasury background. You will ideally have experience working as a SMF16/17 but an outstanding Deputy with extensive proven stand-in experience may also be considered.
